Create an agent

Open the agent dialog

From your dashboard, click the + New agent button. A dialog will appear asking for basic details.

Fill in the basics

  • Name — a descriptive name like “Sales assistant” or “Support agent”.
  • Description (optional) — a short note for your own reference.

Write instructions

The instructions field is the most important part. This is where you tell the agent:
  • Who it represents (company name, role)
  • How to greet callers
  • What topics it can help with
  • When to transfer or escalate
You are the reception assistant for Bakkerij van der Berg.
Greet callers warmly and help them with:
- Opening hours and location
- Ordering cakes and pastries
- Questions about allergens

If a caller wants to speak to a manager, transfer the call.
Always be friendly and professional.

Choose a voice

Select from available voices: Ash, Ballad, Coral, Sage, or Verse. Each has a distinct tone and character.
You can preview voices by starting a test call after saving your agent.

Save and test

Click Save. Your agent is now ready. Use the microphone button to start a test conversation.
